Modern IL is Sponsoring Sunday Brunch During Atomic Ranch On the Road’s Chicago Super Tour

A weekend celebrating mid-century modern design in the Chicago suburbs
This September, Atomic Ranch brings its passion for mid-century modern to Chicago’s North Shore and Northwest Suburbs – and Modern IL is honored to be part of it.
Atomic Ranch, the magazine devoted exclusively to mid-century modern architecture, design, furniture, and art, is hosting an unforgettable weekend of tours and events. Across two days, guests will step inside up to eight remarkable homes designed by masters including Norman Millet, Robert Rasmussen, Paul Schweikher, Edward Humrich, Keck & Keck, and Irving Moses.
Atomic Ranch on the Road: A Chicago Super Tour takes places on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th.
Saturday, September 13: Explore five homes in Highland Park, Lake Forest, and Riverwoods. VIP guests (NOTE: The Saturday VIP tickets have sold out) will also enjoy private access to the Paul Schweikher house and studio in Schaumburg, followed by a cocktail party inside a Lake Forest residence.
Sunday, September 14: Tour two Highland Park homes, then gather for an intimate VIP brunch prepared by acclaimed Chef Gale Gand. Chef Gand is a James Beard Award-winning pastry chef, co-founder of Chicago’s Michelin two-star restaurant Tru, host of Food Network’s “Sweet Dreams,” and the author of eight cookbooks.
Modern IL is proud to sponsor this very special Sunday brunch—a celebration of food, community, and timeless modern living.
